1970 Press Photo Artist Anthony Rice and wife survey T-shirt sculpture in D.C.

Artist Anthony Rice and his wife, Linda, survey his sculpture comprised of dozens of T-shirts strung from balcony to balcony at the Corcoran Art Gallery in Washington, D.C., Friday. He calls it "Fruit of the Loom." It is one of a number of far-out works in an exhibition called "New Sculpture" by area artists.
