1962 Press Photo Princess Liliane deRethy holds monkey, gift from husband

Princess Liliane deRethy, 46, holds a monkey, a gift from her husband, former King Leopold, 61, left, father of Belgium's present ruler on his return earlier this month from a trip to Brazil. Leopold last night denounced accounts of his private life published in his absence by what he called the scandal press. He said he did not expect personal attacks to stop, but expressed a wish to live in peace with his family which reunited in Belgium during his trip to Brazil.
