Appearing on the same panel with Eqbal Ahmad (right), one of the seven defendants in the alleged bomb threat and Henry Kissinger kidnap plot is Alger Hiss, former United States Department official who spent years in a federal prison after he was convicted of perjury for denying he ever gave alleged State Department documents to Communist spies. The panel, held in Harrisburg, PA, Tuesday focused on Indochina and President Richard M. Nixon's Asian policy.
