Land on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish owned by developer Lewis Johnson, chairman of the state highway board, and George A. Fischer, former executive assistant to Parish President Thomas F. Donelon, is designated by the letters A,B,C. Some parish improvements have benefited Johnson's undeveloped land south of the West Bank Expressway while other parish land south of the West Bank Expressway while other parish improvements have increased the value of the Johnson and Fischer land on the north side of the highway.
