His selection as the apprentice representative of Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Oklahoma to the Congress of American Industry is announced Thursday to Hilyard Franklin Durr (right), apprentice employed by the Freeport Sulfur Company. Making the announcement is Streuby L. Drumm, member of the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers, sponsor of the congress. Looking on at left is E.D. Wingfield, Freeport Sulfur vice-president. The congress will be held in New York city Dec. 25.
