The Story
Running - The Annual Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics passed through the streets of Kenner today. Representatives from the Kenner Police Department started their run at the Kenner/St. Charles parish line. The run started in Shreveport several days ago and ends in New Orleans, today. Louisiana Special Olympics will take place this weekend. Front row: Robert Lee, Irv Bellanger and his son Shane Bellanger (not a member of the Kenner Police Department), back row: Brandon Johnson, Richard Bradshaw, and Dwayne Babin. In this photo the group is running down Airline Highway.
