The Story
Hurricane readiness- Anxious veterans of last fall's hurricane flooding in Carolyn Park troop up to a "Cut" in the end of Jaguar Dr. as waters rise high enough to give the neighborhood a scare. The Levee is being raised, but this one spot was left at the old level to allow trucks to pass. But the gap was filled with mud and shells by a bulldozer operator as the water rose to about a foot below the gap. However, waters receded later.
