The event was sponsored by the Coaltion for the Right to Choice and the Religious Coalition for the Right to Choice at the Memorial Center. About 80 persons attended the $10 fundraising luncheon. There were no visible or audible protests, but some reports were that two women who came bringing a tape recorder were members of the opposition. She was a presidential advisor.
